Apres Gel-X is a soft gel tip system from the Apres brand. We select pre-shaped tips that fit each of your nails, bond them with gel adhesive, and cure under LED. The result looks like length grew naturally, with a smooth finish and no acrylic bulk. When you're ready for a change, the whole set soaks off in minutes, no aggressive filing required.

What is Builder Gel?
Builder gel is a basecoat that’s thicker than a regular polish base coat. Builder gel is stronger and will be less prone to breaking, meaning that it will be easier to grow your nails. The self-levelling properties of builder gel creates a smooth foundation and protects your natural nails from damage.
Benefits of Builder Gel
The key reason to use builder gel is to protect and grow your natural nails. While builder gel is applied, your natural nails underneath can grow freely. If your nails are thin and damaged from frequent manicures, builder gel will give your nails the time to heal and recover it’s lost thickness.

How is Apres Gel-X applied?
Five steps from natural nails to finished set.
1 Prep. We cleanse and lightly buff the natural nail, then apply a base coat.
2. Sizing. We select a pre-shaped tip in the right size and length for each nail.
3. Bond. Each tip is sealed with gel adhesive and cured under LED.
4. Shape. We file and shape the set to your preferred final length and shape.
5. Finish. A top coat for shine and protection.

How long does Apres Gel-X last?
Most clients get three to four weeks before an infill is due, depending on growth and lifestyle. The soft gel finish holds its shine and resists chipping longer than standard gel polish, and the soak-off removal means you don't lose nail thickness between sets.
What is the difference between Apres Gel-X, polygel, and builder gel?
All three add length or strength, but they work differently.
