Gel is one of the most popular nails service available today. Gel is so popular because after it's cured with a UV or LED light, the gel becomes hard and will typically last for 2-4 weeks. And of course it looks fantastic!
Gel will not damage your nails if applied correctly, so you should always ensure that a qualified nail technician is performing the service. The nail underneath the gel will remain safe while the gel is on, and will typically not result in any damage. The gel should be safely removed by a nail technician, as picking the gel off or filing it yourself may cause damage.
